« Back to Glossary IndexThe Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is an Australian federal government organisation responsible for the regulation and quality assurance of all higher-education providers in Australia. This includes public and private universities.
Accreditation by TEQSA or another Australian regulator is necessary to award qualifications listed in the AFQ (Australian Qualification Framework).
